Gloucester Youth Housing Association is a voluntary organisation that works across the county of Gloucestershire to house and support young people between the ages of 16 and 25.
We have been supporting young people since 1986, starting with a single hostel, we have steadily developed new services over the past twenty years and now we provide specialist housing and support to almost 100 young people in Gloucestershire.
We aim to provide a safe, stimulating and inspiring environment for young people, through the provision of an integrated network of housing, support and related services.
To achieve this we provide specialist, high-quality supported housing for young people who are homeless or in housing need.
We offer life skills training and support so that when young people leave GYHA they can sustain their tenancies and fulfil their potential.
We provide services which are led by the needs of young people and involve them in every aspect of their time with GYHA.
We aim to provide a voice for young people and to dispel the myths about youth homelessness.
We aim to deliver accessible services that meet the aspirations and needs of the diverse community in which we work.
